In this painting, a person appears to pull a long brown-and-green canoe out of the water and onto a grassy stretch of land. The person wears a hat and a green shirt with brown trousers, and their face is indistinct. The water closest to us is light yellow and reflects the dark shadow of the person and the boat. Behind the small area of land that the person stands on is another body of water, leading to tree-covered land in the distance. The water in the distance is blue with streaks of pink and reflections of green trees. The sky above is light blue with areas of light peach and pink.
