Painter, American, 1912 - 1962

This painting shows vertical, elongated bands of color flowing upward. The soft, wide lines blend and overlap in shades of pink, orange, red, brown, and teal. The colors create a triangular shape, narrower at the bottom and wider at the top, although the bottom is flat and not pointed. On either side of them and at the very top of the painting, off-white paper is visible.”
