This drawing is a sketch of two people in dynamic poses. A woman is seated or reclining while looking upwards, a long cloth draped around her lower body. To the right, a man is standing with his knees bent, leaning forward, and reaching upward with one arm. This man is seen in profile, and has short, curly hair and a cloth draped over his shoulders like a cape. The man and the woman hold hands, and she has her other hand on his knee. The man reaches up towards a tree behind the woman, writing something into its bark with a long tool. In the bottom left corner, two small dogs sit at the feet of the woman. The drawing is in light gray lines on beige paper, and the shapes are loose, with few details.
