This painting shows a dog with a white and brown coat standing in tall green grass. The dog has large eyes, a pointed snout, and long ears. It is looking intently at a group of small birds that stand at the bottom of the painting in an opening in the grass, situated between us and the dog. There are four birds, and they have brown and white feathers, orange eyes, and short beaks. The background features a blue sky with a few clouds, and the grass around the dog and birds is painted in different shades of green, yellow, and brown.
