This painting is a portrait of a person with dark hair styled neatly in an updo with soft waves over their forehead. They have a serious expression, with pale skin, high cheekbones, deep-set eyes, dark eyebrows, and pink lips in a neutral expression. The person is wearing a pale blue garment with a vee-neck and slightly puffed sleeves, and they are turned slightly to the left. On the right, there are deep shadows on the side of their face and their neck. The background is a mixture of brown and gray shades with visible brushstrokes.
