This photograph shows a view of the horizon during sunset or sunrise, with the sun casting a warm reddish-orange glow behind a dark line of silhouetted trees. The horizon is in the center, with a pale purple sky above the dark ground. Closer to us appears to be a grassy field partially lit by the sun's light. On the left, white, handwritten text is visible over the grass.

Inscriptions

inscribed by artist into print surface: Who calls me by name as I’m sitting on grass? Squinting hard under a harder sun thinking how easy it is to be stoic and to be called nothing, nothing out of fear and nothing out of resentment.
