This painting shows a bustling narrow street. Tall tenements are on either side in shades of red and brown. Fire escapes and clothing hang from the sides of the buildings. The street below is covered in white snow. A couple in coats stands among other passersby, and horse-drawn cart is pulled down the street. In the background, the buildings converge at the end of the long street below an icy blue sky.
