Painter, French, 1886 - 1966

This painting shows a large guitar and two bottles. The large, reddish-brown guitar is to the right of center. In front of it are the bottles. The bottle on the left is thinner and appears to be partially filled with a red substance, while the one on the right is larger, with a ribbed body, and appears empty. The three objects cast dark shadows on a tan wall to the left, and the shadow highlights the long neck of the guitar. The wall behind the objects is gray, and the surface they rest on is tan.
